School Board Candidate Information


The South Brunswick Board of Education has three open seats for the November 3, 2020 school board election for a full term of three years. Please click here for a Nominating Petition.

Petitions must be filed with the County Clerk’s Office no later than Monday, July 27 th on or before 4:00 pm (NJSA 19:60-7). The County Office is located at 75 Bayard Street, New Brunswick, N.J. 08901 4 th floor and the hours during which the office is open to receive petitions are Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.

Voter Information: Residents who are at least 18-years old, citizens of the United States and have lived in Middlesex County for at least 30 days may register to vote. Voter registration applications must be received by the Middlesex County Board of Elections 21 days prior to an election.

In New Jersey, voters can also vote by mail-in ballot in any election. Voters no longer need a reason to vote by mail.

To be eligible to vote in the November School Board Member Election , you must register 21 days prior to the election.
