Assessment News

March 2022 News:
Earlier this year, we distributed the Annual Assessment Notification about standardized testing in our district. It included testing windows, but it was too early to share specific dates. At this time we wanted to make sure all families had the most current NJSLA Family Calendar 2022. As we get closer to the April dates, your child’s school will share additional information with you.

January 2022 News:
During the week of March 14th, this year’s Juniors, the Class of 2023, will participate in the New Jersey Graduation Proficiency Assessment (NJGPA). The NJGPA is a brand new online assessment that measures student proficiency in English Language Arts and Mathematics. The assessment is aligned to New Jersey Student Learning Standards (NJSLS) for grade 10 ELA, Algebra I and Geometry. NJGPA is designed to determine a student’s ability to think critically, solve problems, and use information from what they read and write to develop essays and to solve mathematical problems.
In other testing news, the NJSLA will be administered this spring. We are are still working on our schedule to be shared at a later date. The testing window is April 25, 2022 to June 3, 2022.
