Emergency School Closing Information

In cases of inclement weather, it is the intent of the Superintendent to ensure the safety of all students and employees.

The Superintendent of Schools, the Business Administrator and the Director of Buildings and Grounds collaborate with South Brunswick Township Police Department and Department of Public Works when deciding whether to close school or operate under a 2-hour delay.

The best interest of all students is kept in mind during the decision-making process. District officials make every effort to make decisions about school closures or delayed-openings by 5:30 a.m.
