Parent Virtual Learning Decision Info

Families,

We hope that you are doing well and savoring the summer months.

At this time we have an important form that must be completed for each student who attends our South Brunswick Schools. This form will assist us in the next steps of our planning for learning models, transportation, and technology needs.

Click here to view an important video from our Superintendent, Scott Feder and Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum, Instruction, and Administration, Jennifer Diszler. You will need about twenty minutes to review the video.

Attached is a document that further illustrates our instructional delivery model options: 100% virtual and the hybrid in person model.

We ask that you log in to the Genesis Parent Portal after reviewing these resources to complete the required form.

Important note for parents of students with IEPs in self-contained classes. We are working through specific models for these specialized programs that may include increased time for in-person learning on a more regular schedule. So when considering whether you want your child in-person or 100% virtual, know that they may be in-person more often than every other week.

For parents of students with IEPs in out-of-district school placements, we do not currently have the exact plans on how each school will be operating in September, so know that your response may be impacted once more information about your child’s school is provided.

Sincerely,
Suzanne Luck-Born
Director of Assessment and Instructional Support
