Dear South Brunswick Families,

We want to make you aware of several fraudulent emails that have recently been sent to members of our community. These messages falsely claim to be from South Brunswick School District staff members and may request money, gift cards, personal information, or funds for classroom supplies.

Please be cautious when receiving any email of this nature.

The South Brunswick School District and our staff members would not send unsolicited emails requesting personal financial information or asking families to send money, gift cards, or other funds in this manner.

If you receive a suspicious email claiming to be from a staff member, please do not respond, click any links, or provide any personal or financial information. Instead, report the message immediately to your child’s school or to my office.

We appreciate your patience, understanding, and vigilance as we work to address this issue.

Sincerely,

Bernard F. Bragen, Jr.

Superintendent of School
