School Board Candidate Information


Please check back for information for the School Board Election for November 2024, information will be posted as soon as it becomes available.  Typically, the board has three open seats for the School Board Election for a full term of three years unless a member resigns before their term expires.

Petitions must be filed with the County Clerk’s Office (NJSA 19:60-7). The County Clerk's Office is located at 75 Bayard Street, New Brunswick, N.J. 08901.  For a date TBD. The office is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm to receive petitions, excluding holidays.   For further information the office number is 732-745-3080.

Voter Information: Residents who are at least 18-years old, citizens of the United States and have lived in Middlesex County for at least 30 days may register to vote. Voter registration applications must be received by the Middlesex County Board of Elections 21 days prior to an election.

In New Jersey, voters can also vote by mail-in ballot in any election. Voters no longer need a reason to vote by mail.

To be eligible to vote in the November School Board Member Election , you must register 21 days prior to the election.
