Library Media Center Policies
To Check Out Materials:
Students, faculty, and staff may borrow books and magazines from the Media Center.
Books and back issues of magazines may be checked out for three weeks and may be renewed. Reference books may be checked out overnight.
Fines for overdue books are $.05 per day, $1.00 per day for reference books.
For lost or damaged books borrowers will be charged for the item's replacement.
Students must have a valid school ID card to borrow from the library.

•Students are welcome to visit the library during HAP. HAP teachers may send five students to the library for the block. Students should check with their HAP teachers for more information about library use.
•The library is open to all students during lunch. No pass is needed to access the Media Center during lunch.
•The library is open to all students until 3:00 Monday through Thursday. Students must sign into the library by 2:45. SBHS ID cards are required for entry into the library.
To use the Library Media Center computers:

•Students must have an ID number and password to use the library computers. Student IDs and passwords may be obtained from the house office.
•The library has the ability to monitor computers for acceptable use.
•Accessing IM, chat rooms, personal weblogs (i.e. MySpace and Face Book), and games are not allowed on the library computers. Accessing these sites is a violation of the South Brunswick Acceptable Use Policy.
