Senators are elected by their peers to represent not only their specific Block 1A, but also the entire student body. Senators play a major role in the Student Senate and their participation and cooperation are greatly appreciated by the Student Council. There are many activities and opportunities in which Senators may become involved throughout the school year. Senators must be responsible and always remember to inform their teachers before missing class for a Senate meeting. Senators are responsible for all the work missed in class, and cannot miss tests or quizzes without prior approval. The 2007-2008 school year will be a terrific one with the help of all of the Student Senators.
