Student Council Logo

The Student Council coordinates our Student Government for the benefit of all SBHS students, grades 9-12. The Student Council Officers plan and organize school-wide events, and they oversee the Student Senate. The Student Council officers are elected in the spring and meet during Block 3A in the Student Activities Office, Room 109.

The Student Senate provides a democratic forum in which students can address those school-related issues that affect their lives. It also maintains a continuous communication channel from students to both faculty and administration, as well as among the students within the school. Student Senators are selected as representatives from each Block 1A class in the beginning of each school year and are expected to attend Senate meetings regularly. Class Officers are also members of the Student Senate.
