Student Council The Student Council Officers plan major events and bring ideas and actions before the Student Senate. The Student Council also offers a year-long program of social functions and community involvement projects. Some of the Student Council programs include Spirit Weeks, Pep Rallies, Homecoming, Powder Puff, Prom Preview Fashion Show, Mr. SBHS and annual elections. Students learn the duties and responsibilities of good citizenship, and develop their leadership skills using the school environment as the primary training ground. The student body elects Student Council Officers in the spring, after which additional appointed officers may be selected.
