PRESIDENT

Duties

Preside and attendall PTO meetings.             

Coordinate the work of the officers.

Qualifications:

The ability to make decisions and to listen to others. Some management or

Supervisory background is helpful.

CORRESPONDING SECRETARY

Duties:

Receive, process and present general PTO letters and cards. Handle all PTO correspondence.

Qualifications

Organizational skills.

                     VICE PRESIDENT

Duties:

To take over for the President when needed. To assist & support the President in their duties.

Qualifications:

The ability to make decisions and to listen to others. Some management or supervisory background is helpful.

COMMITTEE COORDINATOR

Duties:

Familiarize yourself with all committees. Distribute committee volunteer forms. Assign committee chairs/co-chairs. Produce a master list of all committee heads. Distribute and regain all committee folders.

Qualifications:

Organizational skill. The ability to make decisions and to listen to others.

RECORDING SECRETARY

Duties:

Record meeting minutes. Track voting members attendance. Count votes & ballots.

Qualifications:

Organization and listening skills. Ability To attend all PTO meetings.

TREASURER

Duties:

Keep permanent book of PTO financials. File necessary tax and non-profit forms. Maintain records of receipts, dues, committee financial activities and expense and income. Produce monthly report and record.

Qualifications:

Accounting and organizational skills are helpful.
