Dear Families:
The first grade teachers want to wish you a happy, healthy summer! We know summers are busy and we wanted to write you this letter now so that you can do your “Back To School” shopping at your leisure this summer.
Listed below are the supplies your child should have for first grade. It would be helpful if each item is labeled with your child’s name to avoid confusion.
First Grade Supplies:
1 small box of crayons
1 box of washable markers
1 package of colored pencils
15 glue sticks (Yes! We will use all 15 throughout the year.)
1 container to hold crayons, pencils, erasers, etc.
1 large sized adult dress shirt cut at the elbows for a smock
1 spiral notebook
1 marble composition notebook
2 folders with two pockets
2 3-ring binders (NO TRAPPER KEEPERS)
4 highlighters (any color)
2 felt tip pens (blue or black) (made by BIC)
1 box of Ziploc bags (any size)
1 container of disinfectant wipes
1 book bag (no wheels on backpack please!!!!!)
1 lunch box
