School Site Council PTA meeting The Greenbrook School School Site Council is a group of teachers, parents and community members entrusted with the task of academic goal setting. This school based management group gives the entire school community a voice in making important decisions which directly affect the quality of education in our school. The School Site Council acts as a liaison between parents, teachers, administrators and Board of Education members. It consists of six parents, five teachers and two school administrators. Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month. Some projects which have been developed by the Council are Author's Night, K-2 Bedtime Story Hour, and Math, Science, and Technology Night.

School Board Report: Anna
  1. Everyone has been attending Winter Concerts at each school. Blaustein National Merit Scholarship, children are very talented and receiving awards, recognition should be given to elementary schools.

  2. School Summit Meeting scheduled for 2/27/07—7-9PM

  3. Legislative issues—we must keep on track and target as to what is going on in Trenton. County Superintendent is up for vote. This means superintendents make economic decisions at county wide level and 4% hard cap on yearly budget increases. This does not work—each year numbers change, and needs change. Each district is different. Our district is still growing. This is to try to appease state wide tax increases. Additional reading at NJSBA.ORG, can voice opinion and find other links.
