- Book checkout limits by grade:
- Students in Kindergarten are allowed 1 book
- Students in Grades 1 - 2 are allowed 2 books
- Students in Grades 3 - 5 are allowed 3 books
- ALL students can come to the library anytime their teacher allows them. The following times intrude the least upon the school day:
- First 15 minutes upon arrival
- 15 minutes before the first lunch
- 15 minutes after the last lunch
- 15 minutes before the end of the school day.
- Overdue Notices are not a request for payment. The notices are a reminder to students that a book or books need to be returned to the library.
- Lost Items----------** If a book is lost, parents should notify the librarian. Payment for lost items is not requested until June. Sometimes items find their way into classroom collections or the lost and found box.
