Week of November 17, 2008

                                                Turkeys/Thanksgiving

Concepts and Activities

This week we will be learning many concepts based around turkeys and Thanksgiving.  Some of the concepts we will cover include categorization, patterns, sorting by season, graphing, short-term memory skills, turn taking and following directions.  These concepts will be covered in many activities throughout the week such as turkey feather matching, tired turkey /t/ sound, letter search game, syllable clapping games and more.  We will also make some turkey crafts to bring home.
