Joseph Anzek Principal My name is Joseph M. Anzek. I have been principal of Brunswick Acres School for 16 years. Prior to that I had been a school leader and teacher in Franklin Township, South Brunswick and East Windsor, NJ and at The Harvard School in Chicago. My undergraduate and graduate degrees are from Rutgers University. I believe students should find school to be a safe, interesting place where they frequently encounter difficult tasks. I think student should be aware of their strengths and the way they learn best. It's important for students to experience the satisfaction and pride that grows from being helpful to others including their parents, teachers and schoolmates. I take great pride in the school's long tradition of caring staff members who take extra steps to do everything possible to ensure that students are successful. I am also proud of the school's deep involvement in the performing and visual arts over the years. I feel that students who become deeply involved in the arts develop intellectual rigor and versatility as well as confidence. Students who are involved in the arts engage in another level of thought about how ideas and feelings are communicated. |
