SOUTH BRUNSWICK INTEGRATED PRESCHOOL PROGRAM
2008-2009
The South Brunswick School District offers a Preschool Disabilities program for children ages three and four who have been evaluated by a Child Study Team and found to be eligible for Special Education and Related Services. The District also offers Integrated Preschool programs for students with disabilities who require services within a regular education environment. Other programs and services are available to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Program. If you have questions about your child's development, please call the Student Services Department at (732)297-7800, Ext. 3135.
The daily schedule of the class may include circle time, group work time, planned center time, snack, story time, outdoor play, music, speech and language activities, and motor coordination play. The children are actively involved in exploring their environment through hands-on learning and interacting with peers. This program is based upon a developmentally appropriate curriculum and is designed to meet the needs of all children.
