What if I forget which camps my child is registered for?

If you are unsure of exactly which camps your child is enrolled in, log onto your Community Pass account, choosing the community “SBCE Summer Programs”, then click the “View Current Registrations” link.

How will I know what my child needs to bring for enrichment camps?

You will receive an email 3-5 days prior to the start of your child’s camp.  This email will contain specific information about your child’s camp needs.  In general, your child should pack a snack and water bottle for each camp.  Note that the email will be sent to the email address associated with your online Community Pass account.  If you do not receive this email by the Thursday before your program check your SPAM/junk folder, then contact Nancy Kinal at (732) 297-7800 x 3148 for assistance.

It is recommended that your child wear sunscreen for enrichment camps, because classes may spend time outside doing projects or activities.

If your child is registered for a morning and afternoon program in the same two-week period, and staying for lunch, you will need to pack him/her a lunch and drink. We do not provide lunch nor do we have access to kitchen areas to prepare lunches.  While we can refrigerate lunches, we cannot heat up food for our students.

What are the drop-off/pick-up procedures?Procedures vary by school and program.  You will receive information about this by email 3-5 days prior to the start of camp.

I need a full day of camp for my child.  What are my options?

We offer several extra camp options for families requiring full day care.  There is an AM program that runs from 7AM until the start of the morning programs.  There is also a PM program that runs from the end of the afternoon program until 6 PM.  Each of these programs has an additional charge.

For students who are attending both a morning and afternoon program for the same two-week session, we offer a supervised lunch in between the two programs.  There is no charge for this program but you MUST register your child for this separately.

How do I contact the program?

Your confirmation email will include a phone number for contacting the program.  Due to the number of enrichment options being offered, we cannot have you talk directly to your child’s teacher/leader during program hours unless it is an emergency.  However, we can relay any messages and have the teacher/leader get back to you.

How do I pick my child up early due to a doctor’s appointment, etc?

If you know in advance that there is a change in your child’s schedule, please send a note in to the program and give it to the person at the front desk.  If you need to pick up your child at the last minute, call the number listed in the confirmation email.

Please note that, for security reasons, doors will remain locked during program hours.

Who can I call if I have any questions or concerns?

For questions or concerns about your child’s program contact Kelli Williams at (732) 297-7800 x 3198.
