We are offering a great variety of quality programs for adults from hobbies and fitness to wellness and finance. Classes begin in February, March, April and May.

 

Many new courses include cooking, craft and one-night seminars. HoopDance is a great low-impact workout. Three new Cooking Academy classes have been added. Make beautiful jewelry in the 3 new Beading classes. We are proud to introduce How to Take Care of Aquarium Fish and How To Build & Maintain an Outdoor Fish Pond. What to Expect When Bringing Home a New Puppy or Dog and Intro to Animal Assisted Therapy are sure to be hits. New leisure time and hobbies classes include Quilted Windows and Paper Mache Masks.

 

We welcome back popular favorites such as Computers, Watercolor Painting, Chair Caning, Guitar, Digital Photography, Conversational Italian, Conversational Spanish, Defensive Driving, and Personal Finance choices. Returning fitness and wellness courses include Callenetics, Dancing, Golf, Tennis, Aerobics, Kickboxing, Tai Chi, Yoga, Herbs & Women's Health, Meditation, Target Archery and Kung Fu.

SAT Preparation Classes for June 2nd Test
for 11th graders

 


Focus on shortcuts, study techniques, test-taking skills and strategies, format and scoring. Tuition includes review book and materials. It is important to remember that the more a student studies, the greater the benefit of any preparation course. Students must bring a calculator to math class.

Golf

Five golf lessons for $109!!! It's almost like taking private lessons! Only 8 students per class! Join Ray Cavicchio, a golf teaching professional with more than 20 years experience, including work with LPGA and PGA Tour Professionals. The class meets rain or shine. Beginner golfers will start learning while those with some experience can improve their game. Learn the simple "secrets" of striking the ball for distance and accuracy, along with chipping, pitching and putting. If possible, bring a 7 or 8 iron to the first class. Purchase a bucket of golf balls at each class. Total cost for balls will be approximately $35 for the course. No senior discount. High school students are permitted to register when a parent also registers to attend.
Held at Raritan Golf Range, 101 Orlando Drive, Raritan off Route 206 just south of the Somerville circle.
