We are offering a great variety of quality programs for adults from hobbies and fitness to wellness and finance.

Community School classes are open to all adults over 18 years of age.

Many of our classes fill early. Encourage a friend to join you. Sometimes one or two people make the difference between "go" and "cancel".
Fitness, Sports and Health Choices:

3. Before creating an account, read the 3 options to determine if you are considered an Existing User or New User. If you are not sure, please call 732-297-7800 x3148 for assistance.
4. Once you log in, choose “Winter/Spring 2018 Adult Community School”, and hit the Register button.
5. You are now ready to register and pay for the adult classes you choose with Mastercard or Visa.
Click on each course title to see the schedule and read more about a particular class.
6. You will automatically receive an email confirmation of your transaction.

Registration Information, Regulations, Refunds for Adult Classes

• Course Admission Courses are open to all adults over 18 years old. Before taking any sports, exercise or dance classes, we suggest you consult with your physician to determine if there is any medical or physical condition that precludes exercise.
• Course Confirmation You are officially enrolled as soon as you complete payment online and receive a confirmation from the online system. Add and  to your email address book  to  avoid  important  emails from going into your spam folder.
• Refunds and Withdrawals  We will refund tuition in full if we cancel a course. No refunds or credits will be granted when you withdraw from a one night course. If you withdraw from any other course, at least one week before the course starts, you will be refunded the tuition fee minus a processing fee of $25.  No other refunds or credits will be granted.
• Inclement Weather Closings  If South Brunswick Public Schools are closed during the day, there are no evening classes. If the weather turns bad during the day, please visit the website for emergency closing notification or check your email for notification.
• Senior Citizen Discount South Brunswick residents over age 60 are entitled to a 10% discount off the course fee unless noted.
• Sites and Room Assignment Unless otherwise noted in the course description, classes are at South Brunswick High School at 750 Ridge Road, Monmouth Jct. Check in at reception desk for room assignment.
• Changes  SBCE reserves the right to cancel courses, change times, locations and instructors.
• Materials Fees must be paid to the instructor on the first night of class. Cash is preferred.
• Returned Checks $40 fee for checks returned unpaid by the bank.
• Children are not permitted in class.

SAT Prep Classes



SAT Preparation for the May & June 2018 Tests

Classes are for 11th Graders Only!

Tuition is $420 for Reading/Writing & Math

($210 for each)

Focus on shortcuts, study techniques, test-taking skills and strategies, format and scoring. It is important to remember that the more a student studies, the greater the benefit of any preparation course.

  • This preparation course consists of instruction in verbal, writing
    and math preparation covering all facets of the test.
  • Parents are responsible for transporting student to and from school.
  • Tuition includes review materials.
  • SEE BELOW for correct SAT Prep to buy before first class.
  • Students must bring a calculator to math class.
    These classes are open only to students currently in Grade 11.

6 Mondays: March 12, 19, April 2, 9, 16, 23

4:30-7:30 pm or 6:35-8:35 pm

MATH 4:30-6:30 pm or 6:35-8:35 pm
6 Tuesdays: March 13, 20, April 3, 10, 24, May 1

4:30-6:30 pm or 6:35-8:35 pm


Course includes a total of 24 hours of instruction – 12 hours of Math instruction and 12 hours of
Reading/Writing instruction.


The student must purchase and bring to class the following book costing about $22.00. The book is
available at several retailers including, and local bookstores.
